Russians intensify terror in Melitopol after defeats on front

The Russian occupiers have only intensified the terror on the residents of the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, especially Melitopol, due to the lack of victories at the front.

Quote: "This week we had the opportunity to talk with many of our citizens who have been released from captivity. I will give only a few examples of what those who were in captivity told us about. There are people who have been in captivity for more than 8 months. And in recent months, the Russians have been deliberately bringing conscripts to the places where our residents are held, so that they can practise beating captured civilians."

Details: As Fedorov stated, torture with electroshock is a regular occurrence. According to information he received, on one occasion Russian occupiers kept women standing in a maritime container for 9 days.

"Unfortunately, terror and abuse of the civilian population are increasing in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, especially in Melitopol", Fedorov concluded, emphasising that the reason for the increase in terror may be the lack of victories at the front.
