Poland does not yet know where the missile that fell in Przewodow was launched from

The data collected during the investigation into the explosion of a rocket in the Polish village of Przewodow has not yet made it possible to establish exactly where it was fired from.

As reported by "European Pravda" with reference to "Polish Radio," Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated this at a press conference on Sunday, while on a visit to Finland.

During a press conference in Helsinki, the head of the Polish government was asked about the results of the investigation into the missile explosion in Przewodow, in particular, whether the Ukrainian side admits that it was their missile.

"We don't know that yet. Let specialists and investigators work on it. We have invited experts from the Ukrainian side, as well as international, NATO, and American ones to investigate," Morawiecki said.

He added that the investigation has "evidence from the border guards' cameras, but they do not show with absolute certainty where the missile was fired from." "We need to continue collecting evidence, the investigation will take some time," he added.

The Polish prime minister vowed that Warsaw seeks full transparency in the investigation. "We especially want our Ukrainian friends and partners to be confident that the result of the investigation will be demonstrated. Therefore, we invited them to investigate," he said.

Reminder: The explosion in Przewodow occurred on the afternoon of 15 November, shortly after the start of a large-scale missile strike by the Russian Federation on Ukraine, which is why a meeting of the National Security Council was called in Poland.

At first, it was assumed that a Russian missile fell on Przewodow and unofficially reported that there could have been two missiles. Subsequently, it was reported that, according to preliminary conclusions of Polish and American experts, it was most likely a missile from the Ukrainian air defence system.

Polish President Andrzej Duda called the explosion on 16 November an accident. He also stated that understands the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who expressed his conviction that the missile that fell on Tuesday on the territory of Poland, was Russian.

On the afternoon of 18 November, Ukrainian experts were allowed access to the site of the explosion.
