New Zealand's defence minister visits Kyiv and meets with Reznikov
New Zealand Defence Minister, Peeni Henare, visited Ukraine and Poland; he met with Ukrainian defence minister Oleksii Reznikov in Kyiv and said that his country strongly supports Ukraine in its resistance against Russia.

Details: During the meeting, the parties discussed New Zealand extending the mission to support the training of Ukrainian troops in the UK until July 2023.
The press service of the New Zealand Defence Ministry stressed that Henare was impressed by the steadfastness and determination of the Ukrainian people, as well as their high morale.
Since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine in late February, New Zealand has imposed sanctions on more than 1,200 Russian individuals and legal entities and provided Ukraine with more than $60,000,000 in military, diplomatic, legal and humanitarian assistance.
Reznikov informed the representatives of the foreign delegation about the situation at the front and spoke about the successful actions of the Defence Forces of Ukraine and the liberation of Ukrainian lands from invaders in the south of the country.
In addition to Ukraine, Henare also visited Poland, where he met with Polish Minister of National Defence, Mariusz Błaszczak.
