Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel attacks near 7 settlements and hit Russian command post – General Staff report

Ukraine’s Armed Forces have repelled attacks by the Russian occupying forces near seven settlements and have hit a command post and an ammunition storage point belonging to the invaders in the east of Ukraine.

Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled attacks by the Russian invaders in the vicinity of the settlements of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Spirne, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne and Klishchiivka in Donetsk Oblast.

The occupiers carried out 1 airstrike and 4 missile strikes, as well as 59 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS).

There were no significant changes on the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna fronts. No signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected.

On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts: the occupiers are defending their captured lines. The Russians deployed mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Krokhmalne, Tabaivka in Kharkiv Oblast; Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Ploshanka and Nevske in Luhansk Oblast and Berestov in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka fronts, the occupiers are concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensive actions. The Russians deployed tank and artillery of various calibres to fire on areas in and around the settlements of Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Vesele, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, Krasnohorivka, Pervomaiske, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar and Vremivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the occupiers are defending their captured lines. Areas around the settlements of Novopil, Nove, Chervone, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Plavni, Stepnohirsk and Vyshchetarasivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast were damaged by Russian artillery fire.

On the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson front: the occupiers are conducting positional defence, improving fortification equipment and logistical support of forward units, and are continuing their artillery shelling of the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River. The Russians are using UAVs to conduct aerial reconnaissance in order to pinpoint the positions of Ukrainian troops and adjust their artillery fire. 

Russian forces deployed tanks and tubed and rocket artillery to fire in the vicinity of the settlements of Kachkarivka, Tokarivka, Antonivka, Chornobaivka and the city of Kherson.

The Russian occupiers have set up additional checkpoints to identify and detain deserters in Luhansk Oblast.

Fire damage to Russian clusters of manpower carried out by units of Ukraine’s Armed Forces on 18 November has been confirmed in the settlements of Vasylivka, Novobohdanivka, Mykhailivka (Vasylivka district) and Komysh-Zoria in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

The occupiers suffered more than 160 wounded. About 10 units of military equipment of various types and an ammunition storage point were destroyed. Information about the number of casualties is being confirmed.

Ukraine’s Armed Forces have shot down an Orlan-10 UAV and hit a Russian command post and ammunition storage point over the past 24 hours.
