Ukraine’s Foreign Minister: Putin seeks to "freeze" the conflict, but it will only become "ticking time bomb"
Ukraine’s partners should have Ukraine’s victory as their goal, not premature peace talks with Russia, which in reality is not committed to the peace process. Only Ukraine’s victory will result in a sustainable and just peace in Europe.

Quote from Kuleba: "We need a win, not a draw. If we let Russia get a pause now, Putin will turn the frozen conflict into an enormous ticking time bomb in the heart of Europe, ready to explode at any moment. It would be a strategic mistake for Europe to aim for that outcome. I am warning Ukraine’s partners: do not offer us to compromise our conscience, territorial integrity or sovereignty. Because you will compromise your own security."
Details: Kuleba said that no country in the entire world wants peace as much as Ukraine, but "wars like this have to end in the victory of good over evil."
He urged partner countries to work together to bring Ukraine’s victory closer.
The minister said that Ukraine’s partners should have Ukraine’s victory as their goal, not premature peace talks with Russia, because Moscow keeps making ultimatums and is using claims that it is ready to negotiate as a cover for its continuing aggression.
Quote from Kuleba: "Ukraine’s victory will help achieve a true peace. This is an entirely plausible goal, as evidenced by the Kharkiv and Kherson offensives this autumn. Ukraine’s victory will be the victory of Europe and the West. It will restore peace and security on our continent for decades to come. It will also help usher an extended period of global stability, because it will make obvious the fact that aggression is not an effective tool for achieving various goals in the 21st century. This is the result we all should aspire to and this is the path to true, sustainable and just peace."
Previously: Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that each of Ukraine’s partners can become a leader in dismantling elements of Russia’s aggression.
