UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visits Kyiv

Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has arrived unannounced in Kyiv.

A video of the meeting has been posted by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, European Pravda reports.

"From the earliest days of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine and Britain have been powerful allies. During today's meeting, we discussed the most important issues both for our countries and for global security," Zelenskyy wrote.

"Together we are stronger and we will achieve the desired results," he emphasised. 

Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited Rishi Sunak to Ukraine during their first telephone conversation, and Sunak confirmed his intention to do so in the near future.
