The train departed from the capital on 18 November at 22:14. There were 200 passengers in the carriages who purchased tickets "To victory". The train arrived with carriages painted by Ukrainian artists as part of the "Trains to victory" project .
The project was implemented with the joint participation of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) and UNITED 24. The carriages underwent major repairs at the facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia during the war and were equipped according to new equipment standards. Each of the seven carriages is dedicated to the temporarily occupied (at the time of the project’s start) territory of Ukraine and the exploits of Ukrainians who resist the occupiers.
Note:
On 18 November, Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) launched the first train from Kyiv to Kherson.
Ukrzaliznytsia, together with the United24 platform, has launched the "Tickets to victory" project, which allows people to buy tickets to Ukrainian cities under occupation or already liberated cities.
