Ukraine’s defence forces shoot down 4 missiles and 5 Shahed drones on Thursday – General Staff
Defence forces shot down two cruise missiles, two guided air-launched missiles, and five Shahed-136 kamikaze drones on Thursday, 17 November.

Details: Besides, units of the Rocket Forces and Artillery of Ukraine hit 3 command posts of the Russians, 17 clusters of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 5 munition storage points, and 3 other important facilities belonging to the invaders.
In total, the Russians carried out 5 air and 25 missile strikes over the day; they also opened fire from multiple-launch rocket systems 10 times.
Those missiles hit civilian infrastructure facilities in the settlements of Dnipro, Odesa, Balakliia (Kharkiv Oblast), Vilniansk (Zaporizhzhia Oblast), Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast), and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv Oblast).
On the Kherson front, areas of Antonivka, Zelenivka, Mykolaivka, Kherson, and Chornobaivka came under fire.
Russians strengthened police measures in some of the areas in temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast. In particular, they closed the entrance to Rubizhne from Kreminna and Varvarivka. Civilians are limited to move around the city; filtration measures are also enhanced.
The occupation government plans to deploy special operations and rapid response units of the National Guard of Russia in Mariupol, totaling up to 400 people.
