Quote from Kyrylenko: "Actions that will have to be taken in the event of a nuclear strike on Donetsk Oblast were rehearsed today during an online drill.
The drill was based on a scenario in which Russia has deployed tactical nuclear weapons against an infrastructure facility in [Donetsk] Oblast."
Details: Kyrylenko said that all relevant departments of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration and local administrations, emergency responders, police officers and medical staff took part in the drill.
The goal of the exercise was to ensure that all personnel involved would know how to act in the event of a tactical nuclear strike, including the variations that could result from the specificities of the weapons deployed and the weather.
Quote from Kyrylenko: "We have to be prepared for every eventuality, because the rat driven into a corner might issue even the most insane order from his bunker.
If this happens, we will have to respond swiftly and in a coordinated manner: that’s why we need timely drills.
Whatever the danger, good preparation and clear, coordinated actions can help minimise its consequences as much as possible."
