Quote: "The Parliament has asked the G20 member states to exclude the Russian Federation from this Group… To make it the G19."
Details: The Verkhovna Rada argued that Russia is deliberately annihilating the Ukrainian people, which has all the hallmarks of genocide, and terrorising peaceful civilians by launching missile attacks on energy infrastructure facilities, and therefore it deserves to be expelled from the G20.
Zhelezniak added that 310 Members of Parliament had supported the corresponding decree (No. 8203) at the session on 16 November.
Previously: In his video address at the Group's summit on 15 November, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called it the G19 twenty times, implying that Russia should be excluded.
