Deputy head of collaborationist Kherson Oblast administration disappears in settlement of Henichesk

Russian media has reported that a collaborator, the Russian-appointed deputy head of the Kherson Oblast administration, Kateryna Hubarieva, disappeared in the settlement of Henichesk; there is no communication with her.

Source: Kremlin-aligned news outlet RBC citing Hubarieva’s husband, the former self-proclaimed people’s governor of Donetsk Oblast, Pavlo Hubariev

Quote from Hubariev: "Yesterday, approximately at 16:30, my wife Kateryna Hubarieva disappeared; there has been no connection with her since then. The last place she was seen at is the building of the government of Kherson Oblast in Henichesk."

Details: According to Hubariev, he tried to reach out to another collaborator, the so-called acting head of Kherson Oblast administration, Volodymyr Saldo, in order to find out his wife’s location, but did not succeed.

In August, Hubarieva declared that Russia had an intention to unite captured territories of Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts.

Additional information: Hubarieva was the first so-called Minister of Foreign Affairs of "DPR" [Donetsk People’s Republic – a disputed entity created by Russia-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine – ed.] (since 16 May 2014); then, she became the Russian-appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of "DPR" (since 5 August 2014) and the member of the so-called People’s Council of "DPR" (since 3 November 2014).
