"We must start rebuilding the liberated territories of Kherson Oblast as soon as possible. First, we must restore the damaged facilities of critical infrastructure and provide people with electricity and heat," said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine. She added that the allocated funds would also be used to restore social facilities.

The funds will be received by the Kherson Oblast Military Administration, which must agree with the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development on the list of measures to be financed. The scope of the financing will include the inspection of the facilities, the purchase of building materials for rebuilding of damaged facilities, major repairs and restoration, maintenance repairs and dismantling of destroyed structures.

Kherson Oblast will receive the allocated funds as soon as the ordinance is finalised and ratified.
