US intel confirms Russian missiles entered Polish territory

The US intelligence sources have confirmed that Russian missiles entered the territory of Poland, where two people were killed.

Details: Russia carried out a large-scale missile strike on Ukraine on the afternoon of Tuesday, 15 November. Several missiles landed not far from the Ukrainian-Polish border.

A Radio Zet [a Polish outlet – ed.] journalist has unofficially reported that two people died on Tuesday afternoon after a projectile hit an area where grain was being dried in Przewodów, a Polish village near the border with Ukraine. Police officers, prosecutors and the Polish military rushed to the scene.

Later on, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki called an urgent meeting of a committee for national security and defence affairs.

Poland has not officially confirmed that the incident was connected to the recent Russian missile attack on Ukraine.
