Russia has lost over 82,000 soldiers in war

The Russian forces have lost over 82,000 soldiers, as well as 2,860 tanks, 1,850 artillery systems and 208 air defence systems in the war against Ukraine.

Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 15 November 2022 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

  • approximately 82,080 (+710) military personnel;
  • 2,861 (+13) tanks;
  • 5,773 (+25) armoured combat vehicles;
  • 1,850 (+11) artillery systems;
  • 393 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
  • 208 (+2) air defence systems,
  • 278 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
  • 261 (+0) helicopters;
  • 1,511 (+2) operational-tactical UAVs;
  • 399 (+0) cruise missiles;
  • 16 (+0) ships/boats;
  • 4,351 (+35) vehicles and tankers;
  • 160 (+0) special vehicles and other equipment.
