Zelenskyy arrives in Kherson

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the city of Kherson, which has been liberated from the Russian invaders.

Update: Ukrainska Pravda correspondents have confirmed that the head of state has arrived in liberated Kherson.
Apart from Zelenskyy, other officials arrived in Kherson, including Andrii Yermak, the Head of the Office of the President; Kyrylo Tymoshenko, the deputy head of the Office, and some ministers.
Background:
- On 9 November, Sergei Surovikin, the Commander-in-chief of the Russian occupation forces in Ukraine, said that the Russian army was leaving Kherson.
- On 11 November, Defence Intelligence of Ukraine’s Defence Ministry reported that Kherson was returning under Ukrainian control, and that units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had entered the city. The Russian invaders' escape routes were under the Ukrainian army's fire control.
- Regional and municipal military administrations resumed working in liberated Kherson on 12 November, as did the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police. At the same time, the local authorities have introduced a curfew from 17:00 to 08:00.
- The authorities are urging residents of the liberated part of the region to evacuate.
