Ukraine has liberated 179 settlements since beginning of week
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated 179 cities, towns and villages in an area covering more than 4,500 square kilometres in the south of Ukraine since the beginning of the week.

Details: Operational Command Pivden reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking stabilisation measures, including mine clearance, in liberated cities, towns, villages and territories in Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts.
The Russians are still shelling Ukrainian units and hromadas [administrative units] adjacent to the contact line and conducting aerial reconnaissance. They also continue to strike critical infrastructure facilities, civilian targets, and areas in the rear.
Background: On 12 November, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine’s defence forces have now liberated more than 60 cities, towns and villages in Kherson Oblast.
On 11 November, Vitalii Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, said that almost the entire territory of Mykolaiv Oblast has been liberated from the Russian occupiers.
