Occupiers cause US$270 million worth of damage to UkrLandFarming in Kherson Oblast
Russian invaders have destroyed and looted the base of UkrLandFarming, a company owned by [Ukrainian billionaire] Oleh Bakhmatiuk, in Novoraisk, Kherson Oblast, causing US$250-270 million worth of damage.
This was reported by Oleksii Honcharenko, a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament.
According to Honcharenko, the invaders removed 100,000 tonnes of sunflower seeds and maize seeds and stole combine harvesters, tractors and unmanned aerial vehicles used in land cultivation.
In addition, almost everything that was located on the base was stolen: fuel, lubricants, seed material and crop protection products worth US$60 million.
The Russian terrorists also damaged the Chornobaivka poultry farm, the largest in Europe, which is part of UkrLandFarming. More than 4 million adult chickens and about 700,000 chicks were killed and could not be utilised.

UkrLandFarming, billionaire Oleh Bakhmatiuk’s agricultural holding, is preparing to file a US$1-1.2 billion lawsuit against the Russian government for assets lost as a result of the war.
