Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian command post in Kherson Oblast

Ukrainian defence forces have delivered precision strikes that killed 30 Russian servicemen and destroyed 2 tanks and 4 trucks in the village of Chervonyi Maiak, in Kherson Oblast.

Quote: "After the retreat of the main units of Russian forces from the right bank, the enemy blew up the bridges, that connect Kherson to the village of Antonivka, with the intent to complicate the further movements of our troops advancing on them.

[Ukrainian] defence forces continue to liberate settlements in Kherson Oblast.

During successful offensives, front units of our troops have reached the right bank of the Dnipro River. Measures to identify and destroy the enemy in several settlements are ongoing. Mopping up has also begun in the city of Kherson."

Details: Ukrainian defence forces have delivered precision strikes at a Russian command post in the village of Chervonyi Maiak in Kherson Oblast, killing 30 Russian servicemen, destroying 2 tanks, and 4 trucks.

The Operational Command Pivden has reported that Russian forcees continue to terrorise the settlements to the rear and their civilian population.

Russian forces deployed Grad and Uragan multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) and heavy artillery to shell the Myrove and Marhanets hromadas of Nikopol District in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast during 11 November. [Hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories -ed.]

Close to 70 shells were fired at populated and open areas, injuring two civilians.

Russian forces have shelled Kutsurub hromada in Mykolaiv Oblast deploying Grad MLRS from the Kinburn Spit. There are no casualties.

Ukrainian Air Force delivered two strikes at clusters of Russian equipment in Beryslav and Kherson districts.

Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery completed 34 firing missions targeting areas of concentrated Russian manpower and equipment.

Confirmed Russian losses in these operations are as follows:  

  • 25 military personnel,
  • 3 self-propelled large-calibre Msta-S howitzers,
  • 6 vehicles.

A Russian ammunition storage point in Nova Kakhovka district has also been destroyed.
