Russia’s Minister of Defence to meet with Belarusian military Wednesday about joint measures

The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, will hold a meeting with the joint board of the military departments of Belarus and Russia on Wednesday, 2 November.

Details: The meeting will be conducted via video conference. A main topic reportedly to be discussed is the military cooperation of Belarus and Russia in countering alleged "attempts to falsify history."

The meeting also aims to set top priorities of joint activities for 2023.

Quote: "[The parties] intend to discuss the implementation of the plan of joint measures undertaken by defence ministries of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation aiming at ensuring the military security of the Union State for 2022-2024."
