National Security Council of Ukraine identifies Russian statesman from Putin's inner circle who suggested destroying Ukraine’s energy facilities

Sergey Kiriyenko, the First Deputy Chief of Staff of the President’s Office of the Russian Federation, is the "main ideologue" of the destruction of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Previously: Kyrylo Budanov, the Head of the Chief Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defence Ministry, told UP that he considered Kiriyenko to be one of the alleged "successors" of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
