Quote: "One person was killed.
A drone [killed one person] near a grocery store in the Myropillia hromada [an administrative unit designating the village of Myropillia and its adjacent territories - ed.]."
Update: Tymoshenko’s initial post suggested that the strike took place in the Myronove hromada, but he later corrected it to say it was the Myropillia hromada.
Details: Meanwhile, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, Head of the Sumy Oblast Military Administration, said that Russian forces carried out a terrorist attack on civilians in Myropillia at noon on Sunday, 9 October.
Quote from Zhyvytskyi: "The enemy used a drone to drop a grenade in the very centre of the village, on a recreational area near a grocery store. A store worker who was nearby sustained injuries. Unfortunately, she could not be saved due to the massive bleeding caused by shrapnel wounds, and died. She was 41 years old. Her three children are left without a mother. Her husband and eldest son are serving in the Armed Forces, defending Ukraine. The other two children are still in school.
There were lots of people near the store at the time [of the strike], all of them peaceful civilians just enjoying themselves. The Russians used the drone to drop another grenade on the same location just as [the doctors] were taking care of the injured woman! Miraculously, the second explosion did not injure anyone."
