Sixteen missiles from Russian-occupied territories: Ukrainian Air Force comments on Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia

Ukraine’s Air Force has reported that Russian occupiers fired 16 rockets at Zaporizhzhia on 9 October, killing at least 12 people.

Details: Ukrainian forces point out that the Russian occupiers attacked Zaporizhzhia from temporarily occupied territories, specifically, the area of Melitopol and Berdiansk [Zaporizhzhia Oblast].
Russian Air Force launched four X-22 cruise missiles from a Tu-22M3 bomber jet and two X-55 air-to-ground missiles from a Su-35 fighter.
The Russian troops also conducted an anti-aircraft missile strike, firing from an S-300 air defence system.
An estimated 16 missiles were launched at the city's civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
