Russian plane fires at convoy with civilians in Kherson Oblast, killing 5 people

On 7 October, at about 8:00, Russian combat aircraft opened fire at a convoy of civilian cars in Kherson Oblast.

Quote by Lubinets: "It was announced that on 7 October, at about 08:00, the Russian military fired from a plane at a convoy of civilians in Kherson Oblast.

People were waiting in line for a pontoon crossing to the left bank of Dnipro near the Dariivskyi bridge."

Quote from Kovanyi: "According to eyewitnesses, people heard the sound of the aircraft in the air and saw it make a U-turn and fire projectiles

As a result of the shelling, an unidentified projectile, probably a rocket, directly hit a minibus, where at least five people were killed and five were injured."

Background:

  •  On 30 September, at about 7:30, the invaders fired on a humanitarian convoy of civilians in Zaporizhzhia. 
  •  On 25 September, the Russians fired at another convoy near the village of Kurylivka Kharkiv Oblast; 24 people were killed, including a pregnant woman and 13 children.
