Zaporizhzhia attack: Russians launch 12 missiles, rescuers searching for people trapped under rubble

The Russian occupiers launched 12 missiles on the city of Zaporizhzhia on the night of 8-9 October. The authorities are currently reporting that 12 people were killed, and more people may be trapped under the rubble.

Quote: "The enemy used tactical aircraft to perform a missile attack on the administrative centre of the Oblast [the city of Zaporizhzhia - ed.].
Preliminary reports indicate that the aircraft fired 12 missiles at Zaporizhzhia.
Most of the missiles hit residential apartment blocks and private homes in one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia. A nine-storey apartment block has been partially destroyed.
Five private homes have been destroyed. Infrastructure facilities have been affected. Twenty cars have been damaged."
Details: Starukh noted that the death toll currently stands at 12, and 49 people have been hospitalised, including six children.
More people may be trapped under the rubble and a rescue operation is underway. Eight people have already been rescued.
