Russians pound Sumy region with rockets, injuring a man

Russian forces fired on Sumy Oblast using self-propelled guns and mortars and carried out four airstrikes using helicopters during 8 October. A man has been injured.

Details: Villages in the Krasnopillia and Velyka Pysarivka hromadas came under fire [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories - ed.].
A man was injured in an airstrike on one of the villages in the Velyka Pysarivka hromada. He was hospitalised with shrapnel wounds. Several premises of the tractor crew of an agricultural firm, a grain dryer, a Jondir combine harvester and a tractor were also damaged. In addition, a corn field caught fire.
Zhyvytskyi reported that the Oblast sustained a total of 55 attacks, of which 28 were rocket strikes.
