Russian war losses exceed 62,000 military personnel

Russian army casualties in the full-scale war against Ukraine have exceeded 62,000 military personnel; Ukrainian troops killed 380 Russian invaders over the past day.

Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 8 October 2022 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:
- approximately 62,060 (+380) military personnel;
- 2,472 (+6) tanks;
- 5,111 (+18) armoured combat vehicles;
- 1,459 (+4) artillery systems;
- 345 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
- 180 (+3) air defence systems;
- 266 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
- 234 (+1) helicopters;
- 1,079 (+12) operational-tactical UAVs;
- 246 (+0) cruise missiles;
- 15 (+0) ships/boats;
- 3,875 (+13) vehicles and fuel tankers;
- 136 (+1) other vehicles and equipment.
Russian troops have suffered their heaviest losses on the Donetsk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk fronts.
