Invaders steal seal of Zaporizhzhia NPP – it is no longer valid

On Thursday, 6 October, the Russian occupiers stole the seal of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant [ZNPP], which confers the right to sign documents. The President of Energoatom [the state-owned enterprise that runs all four nuclear power plants in Ukraine]and acting Director General of ZNPP, Petro Kotin, issued an order to put a new seal into effect and invalidate the previous model's stolen seal.

"Continuing the attempts of raids on the Zaporizhia NPP, yesterday the invaders stole the company's seal, which confers the right to sign documents.
In this regard, the president of SE "NNEGC "Energoatom", the acting director general of the ZNPP, Petro Kotin, issued an order to put into effect the new seal of the Zaporizhzhia NPP and invalidate the stolen seal of the previous model, which was used until 5 October 2022," the Ukrainian company said in a statement.

Russian occupiers are forcing Ukrainian workers at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant to sign contracts with Rosatom to continue working there.
The Russian state nuclear energy corporation Rosatom' has established a joint-stock company named Operational Organisation of Zaporizhzhia NPP, registered in Moscow, which is to manage the occupied ZNPP.
The President of Energoatom, Petro Kotin, has assumed the duties of Director General of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
