29 settlements liberated in Kherson Oblast in 5 days - Ukraine’s General Staff

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated 29 settlements in Kherson Oblast since 1 October.

Quote from Hromov: "Since 1 October, 29 settlements have been brought under [Ukrainian] control."

Details: Hromov stated that on the Kherson front, the Russian troops are trying to counterattack using their reserves in order to hold back the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ offensive and regain control over the lost territories.

Background:

• Natalia Humeniuk, head of the united coordinating press centre of the Defence Forces of the South of Ukraine, reported earlier that since the beginning of October, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated over 400 sq. km of Kherson Oblast’s territory from the Russian occupiers.
