Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia: death toll rises to three

As of 14:30, the death toll following a Russian rocket attack on a residential building in Zaporizhzhia stands at three.

Quote from the State Emergency Service: "As of 14:30, rescue workers are continuing to conduct clean-up operations after the rocket attack on a residential building in Zaporizhzhia. State Emergency Service employees have pulled out three bodies from under the rubble of the building."

Details: It is reported that work on clearing the rubble and the search for casualties continues.

Background:

• On the night of 5-6 October, the Russians fired seven rockets on the city of Zaporizhzhia. They targeted infrastructure facilities and hit high-rise buildings. One person was reported dead and one was injured. Many people were rescued from the rubble.
• Later, the Russians launched another rocket attack on Zaporizhzhia.
