Details: Rodion Miroshnik, the so-called "ambassador of the ‘LPR’ [self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic]" to Russia, reported that "the city [Kreminna - ed.] and villages are sparsely populated, the main social institutions have been evacuated."

Miroshnik said that Kreminna is currently under the control of the occupiers, and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine numbering up to 10,000 people have been spotted in and around the villages of Siversk and Torske.

He also said that "evacuation" had taken place in Svatove, and "the local authorities are operating in a limited form".

Meanwhile Denis Pushilin, who was appointed as the "temporary acting" head of occupied Donetsk Oblast by the Russians, reported that their military is building a defence line near the city of Kreminna.

Pushilin said the Armed Forces of Ukraine want to cut off  the Kreminna-Svatove road, but the occupiers are still resisting.

Previously:

  • Serhii Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, reported on 5 October that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated six settlements of Luhansk Oblast.
  • The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russia’s minions have been running away as temporarily occupied territories are being liberated: three busloads of the occupiers’ supporters departed from Svatove to Novopskov in Luhansk Oblast.
