Quote: "We know for certain the number of citizens of the Russian Federation that are called up within the total mobilisation as of today.
We also know that the number of citizens of the draft age who left Russia is twice the number of conscripted people.
We understand where they are located; [we] understand how they want to be formed today. But I would like to mention that lately, after this big mistake of Putin’s [that will] mainly [affect] his own political future and Russia, the number of those who want to fight with our country is decreasing in geometrical progression…
We have a large volume of information regarding soldiers refusing to fight [and] train… Local [protest] rallies are starting."
Details: Danilov has also reminded that Ukraine launched a state project called Khochu Zhyt (I Want to Live), which is dedicated to helping Russian soldiers safely surrender to Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
"Ukraine is a civilised country where the Geneva Conventions are applied to all citizens; we advise Russians to surrender via a hotline," he added.
