Quote from the Ministry: "The Federal Security Service is checking the citizens of Ukraine on having a Russian passport in special filtration checkpoints. According to our information, if a Ukrainian citizen does not own a Russian passport, he can leave the country. But if they figure out that he does, that person is not allowed to leave Russia."
Details: According to the Ministry’s data, citizens of Ukraine, who have a registration stamp in Crimea but do not have a Russian passport, are let out.
The Ministry has also added that volunteers help Ukrainian citizens while crossing the border; they provide people with food, water, etc.
Those who do not want to or cannot wait are offered to use a free transfer to another checkpoint.
The Ministry for Reintegration reminds that Ukrainians in a difficult situation abroad or in need of help can call the hotline via WhatsApp/Telegram/Viber: +380 96 078 84 33.
