Ukraine's Armed Forces kill more than 600 invaders, destroy plane and helicopter in a day

Russia continues to suffer losses in the war of aggression in Ukraine. As of 31 October, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already killed 71,820 invaders and destroyed 2,686 Russian tanks, 275 aircraft and 253 helicopters.

Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 31 October 2022 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses - ed.]:

• approximately 71,820 (+620) military personnel;
• 2,686 (+14) tanks;
• 5,485 (+32) armoured fighting vehicles;
• 1,728 (+4) artillery systems;
• 383 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 197 (+0) air defence systems;
• 275 (+1) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 253 (+1) helicopters;
• 1,413 (+1) operational-tactical UAVs;
• 352 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 16 (+0) ships and boats;
• 4,128 (+8) vehicles and tankers;
• 154 (+0) special vehicles and other equipment.

Russian troops have suffered their heaviest losses on the Avdiivka and Lyman fronts.
