Monday's strike by Russia: air defence shoots down 44 of more than 50 Russian missiles

Ukraine's air defence system has shot down 44 of more than 50 Russian missiles launched on Monday morning.

Quote: "At 07.00 on 31 October, the Russian occupiers carried out several waves of missile attacks on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.
More than 50 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were fired from TU-95/Tu-160 strategic missile carriers from the north of the Caspian Sea and the area of the city of Volgodonsk (Rostov Oblast, Russia).
44 cruise missiles were destroyed by the Air Force in the areas under the responsibility of Air Command Tsentr (Centre) (18), Air Command Pivden (South) (12), Air Command Skhid (East) (9), Air Command Zakhid (West) (5)."
