Details: A month ago, anti-aircraft gunners shot down a Mohajer-6 on the southern front and it fell into the Black Sea. Specialists from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence disassembled it into its components and examined it. They were able to find evidence of the device's Iranian origin - in particular, an inscription in Farsi. It is reported that three-quarters of all its components are of US origin.

Quote: "There are components from Japan, China, Sweden, Austria. There is even one component made in Ukraine - just one component, but it is there. Now our services will find out how it got there."

Details: It is noted that all these components are for civilian use, so anyone can buy them.

Background:

  • The Mohajer-6 has a maximum take-off weight of 600 kg, a payload of 100 kg and a flight range of 200 km. It has a maximum speed of 200 km/h, a flight time of 12 hours and a maximum flight altitude of 5,400 m.
  • Unlike Iranian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze drones, which are barrage munitions (40 kg - explosives - ed.), the Mohajer-6 is capable of carrying up to four high-precision munitions.
  • Production of this drone started in 2017.
