Almost 200,000 Russians have fled from Russia to Uzbekistan since July alone

Almost 320,000 Russian citizens fled to Uzbekistan during the first nine months of this year, 189,000 of them in the third quarter.

Quote: "In total, 318,156 Russian citizens entered Uzbekistan in the first nine months of 2022."

Details: The press service says the biggest wave of immigrants from Russia to Uzbekistan occurred within the period of July to September – 189,175 people. Uzbekistan’s State Statistics Committee reports that the number of Russian tourists over the period of January to September - 395,100 people - was 2.1 times higher than in the same period of 2021.
