Russian forces are continuing to fire on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along the line of contact and to reinforce their defence positions on the left bank of the River Dnipro. They are also conducting extensive aerial reconnaissance.

Russian military personnel conscripted a week ago are continuing to arrive on the temporarily occupied territory in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. They lack motivation and are unwilling to take part in hostilities in Ukraine. There are occasional instances of desertion.

Russia continues to suffer losses in Ukraine. The General Staff has confirmed that on 25 October, Ukrainian forces struck a cluster of Russian weapons and equipment and several ammunition dumps in the vicinity of Beryslav in Kherson Oblast. The number of Russian personnel killed in the operation has yet to be confirmed.

Around 100 wounded Russian soldiers have been hospitalised in the municipal hospital in Holubivka, Luhansk Oblast over the course of 24–25 October. Several surgical brigades have been dispatched from Luhansk and Kadiivka to assist with treating the soldiers.
