Russian troops opened fire on populated areas of Sumy Oblast twice on 26 October.

Details: The Russians fired mortars on Yunakivka hromada (Amalgamated Territorial Community - ed.). Two strikes were reported around 13:30.

The mortar shelling carried out from the Russian Federation’s territory targeted Nova Sloboda hromada in Ukraine. It started at 15:30 and gave many a fright.

"A total of 18 mines hit the border village of the hromada. No casualties have been reported. The information concerning property damage is currently being verified," said Zhyvytskyi.
