Quote from Zelenskyy: "The situation on the front has remained for the most part unchanged. The heaviest battles are being fought in Donetsk Oblast: on the Bakhmut front, in the vicinity of Avdiivka.

That’s where the insanity of Russian military command is the most obvious: every day over the course of the past several months they have sent people there to their deaths; they are focusing their most powerful artillery strikes there. All our soldiers defending positions on these fronts in Donetsk Oblast are heroes.

Hostilities continue on other fronts as well. I would like to single out the soldiers from the 25th Airborne Brigade for their courage in liberating the occupied territories in Luhansk Oblast."

Details: Zelenskyy added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are consolidating their positions on all fronts: "We are reducing the occupiers’ capabilities, destroying their supply routes and preparing good news for Ukraine."

The Ukrainian President also said that Ukrainian forces have shot down almost 250 Russian helicopters since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Russian occupation forces have lost an amount of equipment, including aircraft, that the majority of the world’s armies have never had and will never have in their arsenal. Russia will not be able to replenish those losses. I am grateful to each of our soldiers for this steady and irrevocable demilitarisation of the enemy."
