Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel attacks near nine settlements – General Staff

Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks near nine settlements.

Details: Units of the defence forces have repelled the occupiers’ attack in the areas of Ivanhrad, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Kurdiumivka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Nevelske, and Ternova settlements.
The invaders attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the entire line of contact, building fortifications on certain fronts, and conducting air reconnaissance missions.
Over the past day, the Russians carried out 5 missile attacks and up to 30 air strikes, and opened fire from multiple-launch rocket systems more than 100 times.
More than 40 cities, towns, and villages came under fire, including the city of Dnipro and namesake Oblast, Prykolotne in Kharkiv Oblast, and Velyka Oleksandrivka in Kherson Oblast.
The situation remains unchanged on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. The Republic of Belarus keeps supporting the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. A threat of rocket attacks and use of attack UAVs remains throughout Ukraine.
The Russians opened fire on other fronts:
- On the Sivershchyna front: from mortars and tubed artillery, hitting Starykove, Seredyna-Buda, Basivka, Mykolaivka, and Ryzhivka. The occupiers also used attack UAVs;
- On the Slobozhanshchyna front: from mortars, tubed and rocket artillery; on areas in and around Vilkhuvatka, Budarky, Shevchenkove, Strilecha, and Dvorichna settlements;
- On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts: from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, striking Berestove. Pershotravneve, Nevske, Bilohorivka, Serhiivka, and Spirne;
- On the Bakhmut front: from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, hitting the vicinities of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Ivanhrad, Klishchiivka, Mayorsk, and Odradivka;
- On the Avdiivka front: from tanks and artillery of various types, hitting Novomykhailivka, Pervomaiske, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Nevelske, and Novokalynove;
- On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts: on areas in and around Vremivka, Vuhledar, Zaliznychne, Novopil, and Poltavka, hitting positions of the defence forces and civilian infrastructure;
- On the Pivdennyi Buh front: more than 15 settlements along the entire line of contact came under fire. The Russians launched UAVs of different types up to 20 times in order to conduct air reconnaissance missions.
As per confirmed information, an ammunition storage point and more than 10 Kadyrovites [soldiers from the Chechen Republic who fight as part of the Russian Armed Forces and support Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov] were destroyed as a result of a targeted strike by Ukrainian artillery units in Novoivanivka (Luhansk Oblast).
Additionally, up to 10 occupiers and approximately 5 lorries loaded with ammunition were destroyed in Svatove.
Ukrainian aircraft carried out 21 strikes over the past day. It was confirmed that 17 clusters of weapons and military equipment, 2 strongholds, as well as 2 anti-aircraft missile system positions were hit. Air defence units also shot down five UAVs.
Rocket and Artillery units hit a Russian command post, two clusters of manpower, weapons and military equipment, a radar station, and other important facilities belonging to the occupiers.
