Sumy Oblast: Russians fire 106 projectiles at border hromadas

Head of Sumy Oblast Military Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, reported on the number of times the Russians attacked Oblast border areas on 25 October.

Details: The Russians fired on the border of Sumy Oblast 12 times.

The occupying forces fired 106 different projectiles at seven border hromadas (Amalgamated Territorial Communities - ed.).

The Russians attacked the same settlement in Krasnopillia hromada twice by dropping explosive devices from a drone.

The Seredyna-Buda hromada came under Russian fire twice. The first attack was carried out at about 10:00. The Russians fired nine mines (120 mm).

Later, the Russians fired self-propelled guns five more times at about 19:00. This attack was followed by mortar shelling in the same localities resulting in ten strikes.

The Russian troops fired 120 mm mortars on one of the border villages in Yunakivka hromada at 14:00.

The Russians once again used mortars to fire on border villages in Shalyhyne hromada resulting in seven strikes. 

The Myrolaiivka (border) hromada also came under fire twice. Russian troops fired cannon artillery resulting in eight strikes.

According to preliminary estimates, Russian troops fired self-propelled guns on border settlements in Znob-Novhorodske hromada at about 18:30. The attack resulted in eight strikes.

No casualties have been reported in these cases.

The aggressors attacked Bilopillia hromada in the evening with mortars fired from the territory of the Russian Federation. The attack resulted in a total of 27 strikes.

One of the projectiles hit a civilian residential building, which caught fire following the attack. No casualties have been reported in this case.
