Reznikov and new Swedish Minister discuss strengthening Ukraine's defence

Oleksii Reznikov, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, has discussed strengthening Ukraine's defence capabilities with the new Swedish Minister of Defence, Pål Jonson.

Reznikov announced the meeting on his Telegram channel, European Pravda reports.

"Today, I had a conversation with the recently appointed Minister of Defence of Sweden, Pål Jonson. I congratulated my colleague on his appointment and invited him to visit Kyiv. We discussed new projects to strengthen Ukraine's defence capabilities," stated Reznikov.

Background: The new Prime Minister of Sweden, Ulf Kristersson, presented his government on 18 October.

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had said that he was one of the first foreign leaders to talk to Kristersson, discussing support on the security track.
