Quote: "According to official data, during the occupation of the Kyiv Oblast, the invaders illegally took 147 peaceful Ukrainians out to the territory of Belarus and the Russian Federation. Another 43 civilians in the region are being held captive. An additional 89 people were exported and their fate is unknown."
Details: Kuleba stressed that deportation and kidnapping are another crime of Russians against peaceful Ukrainians, which the whole world should know about.
Why this is important: During the occupation of the Kyiv Oblast, the Russian invaders were noted for their cruelty and violation of the rules of warfare and humanitarian law.
Ukrainian law enforcement officers continue to find victims of the invaders in the de-occupied territory of the Kyiv Oblast.
The fate of many local residents remains unknown, including a journalist from a well-known news agency in Ukraine.
