Children from Enerhodar left in Russia for "indefinite time period"

Russians did not bring back to their parents those children who had been taken from occupied Enerhodar to "summer camps" in Russia and occupied Crimea. These children have been left in these camps for an "indefinite time period".

Details: Fedorov stated that at first, Russian-appointed puppet leaders of the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast announced that the children were being taken to "rest" and "study". Now that the children are in the Krasnodar Krai, parents are getting messages that their kids are being kept there for an indefinite time period.

Quote from Fedorov: "First came children from the temporarily occupied city of Enerhodar. They were supposed to have returned already (from the summer camps – ed.), but the Russians contacted their parents and asked them to provide the children with winter clothes. That is, the children will not be returning yet."

Details: The mayor recalled that earlier, Russian-installed officials in Melitopol also tried to send children to Crimea, Krasnodar, Tula and Volgograd, but were unable to do so because parents would not let them do it.

Fedorov calls on parents from the occupied territories not to give their children to the Russian invaders: "It’s highly likely that the Russians will keep them as human shields and will not bring them back home."
