Zelenskyy says initial decisions on compensation will be ready by year end

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukraine will "have real decisions and see a mechanism" for compensation for the losses caused by Russia’s invasion by the end of 2022.

Quote: "There will be the matter of implementing an international mechanism. We are working on UN support for a resolution on implementing a mechanism for compensation [using funds from Russia’s frozen assets - ed.]. Many countries are ready to do this now. I think that we will have real decisions and see a real mechanism by the end of this year."
