Ukrainian soldiers shoot down 233 Shahed drones in one month – Zelenskyy

Ukrainian defenders have shot down 233 Iranian-made kamikaze drones during the past month; they destroyed 10 Shahed-136 drones in Kyiv Oblast on Wednesday alone.

Quote: "Over the [course of the] month, 233 Shahed drones and dozens of missiles were shot down. Ten Iranian-made drones were destroyed on the Kyiv front today alone; another 11 Shahed drones were shot down by the warriors of the Air Command Pivden (South). Thank you for the amazing work."

Details: At the same time, Zelenskyy added that Russia destroyed three energy facilities of Ukraine over the past day alone. The President called on Ukrainians to limit the electricity consumption on 20 October.

"In order to restore the energy capabilities of Ukraine, we need time and joint efforts. It is important that consumption of electricity is as conscious as possible tomorrow. That way, schedules of rolling blackouts will be shortened," the President pointed out.
