On the night of 18-19 October, the Russian military attacked Enerhodar, a satellite city of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which resulted in power outages and shutdown of the water supply system in some areas.
Source: Dmytro Orlov, mayor of Enerhodar, on Telegram
Quote from Orlov: "At night, Enerhodar came under fire again. The city is partially without electricity and water.
The attack, initially on the industrial zone, and then on the city itself, began around midnight and did not stop in the morning. There are reports of damage to one of the substations, as well as to the building of the executive committee of the city council."
Details: As of 07:37, there was no information on civilian casualties.
Orlov asked everyone to stay at home and follow the two-walls rule [safety rule whereby a person keeps two walls without windows between them and the street during attacks - ed.] until the situation stabilises.
