Body of 5th victim of kamikaze drone strike pulled out from under rubble in Kyiv

The body of the fifth victim of a Russian drone strike, which occurred the day before, has been pulled out from under the rubble of a destroyed house in the Shevchenkivskyi District of Kyiv.

Quote from Klychko: "The body of another victim, an elderly woman, was pulled out from under the rubble of a house in the centre of the capital, which was hit by a Russian kamikaze drone yesterday morning.
This is the fifth victim of Russia's barbaric attack on the capital on 17 October."
Details: Klychko noted that search and rescue operations in the building are underway. Rescuers and other specialised services are on the ground. They are dismantling rubble and removing construction debris.
Background:
- On the morning of 17 October, the Russian invaders attacked Kyiv using Iranian-made kamikaze drones. In particular, they hit a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi District of the capital.
- The Head of the National Police, Ihor Klymenko, reported that the first strike on Kyiv occurred at 06:37, and the last one rang out at 08:20. Five kamikaze drones were recorded: three hit critical infrastructure facilities, one hit a residential building, and another one was shot down by police officers: a patrol officer, a criminal investigation officer, and a special forces officer.
- As of the evening on 17 October, four casualties were reported, including a couple (the woman was 6 months pregnant). Nineteen people were rescued.
