Kuleba noted that he is probably the first foreign minister to address the EU FAC from a bomb shelter because of the air raid siren that was sounding at the time of his address.
"I requested more air defence and a supply of ammunition. [I - ed.] called on the EU to impose sanctions on Iran for providing Russia with drones. The 9th EU sanctions package on Russia must be strong," Kuleba wrote on Twitter.
It was previously reported that some foreign ministers of the European Union on Monday called for new sanctions against Iran if Tehran's involvement in Russia's war on Ukraine was proven.
In addition, the foreign ministers of the European Union agreed on a military training mission for Ukraine.
