Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant cut off grid due to Russian shelling again

Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant [ZNPP] is off the grid once again due to shelling by the Russian military; the last transmission line to the power grid has been disconnected.

On Monday, 17 October, the Russian military once again opened fire at critical infrastructure substations in Ukraine-controlled territory. As a result, at 03:59, Dniprovska, the last 750 kW/h transmission line of the ZNPP, was disconnected.
In the transition process, due to a short-term voltage drop, the ZNPP’s backup auxiliary transformer of the ZNPP's own needs was turned off, and diesel generators were started.
In addition, Energoatom noted that the 750 kW/h, Pivdennoukrainska NPP – Dniprovska transmission line was disconnected, but it did not affect the workload of the power plant.
Note:
Last Wednesday, as a result of rocket fire by Russian troops, the Dniprovska substation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was damaged; it remained de-energized.
On Saturday, 15 October, Ukrainian engineers managed to restore backup power to the ZNPP.
